I specialise in Grief Therapy. I came to this through my work with Macmillan and The Olive Tree Cancer Centre. I worked with clients who were going through treatment, living with a cancer diagnosis or who had lost a loved one to cancer. I fell in love with the work, being able to help clients that were unable to share their loss elsewhere.

Grief and Loss can mean so many things. People often assume it is Bereavement but it can be so many things. Life is a series of micro (or macro) losses that we dont always acknowledge. I try to offer a space that invites you to bring the raw and often unexplored realities of loss. To talk openly and be heard in a space that offers care and compassion.
Grief can also be...
With alot of the above, we think we have to 'get on with it' but to acknowledge them allows us to heal and try to build a more fulfilling life.
"It is the broken heart, the heart that knows sorrow that is also capable of genuine love."
I take a different approach to Bereavement Therapy. Unlike other types of therapy this isnt solution focused or with a goal in mind. It is simply a space that allows you time to process your loss. We often feel we have to protect others from our grief and pain so dont have a place to be fully open or to let go. I think of this as 'grieving room'. A gift to ourself that allows us to honour our loved one with the time we give ourself.
The work is trauma informed allowing you to explore your grief safely. You process at your own pace as I sit alongside you on your journey. We are not looking to fix or 'move on'. We explore how you are able to integrate your loss without your loved one.
I write more about this work in my blog ...

Healing happens in community, to share our pain with others who understand is a powerful way to process. I hold grief circles for small groups, a safe, confidential space to talk about your grief. Sessions are 1.5 hrs and in blocks of 6. You are welcome to drop in or block book but payment is required before the day so numbers are kept to 8 people or less.
We will make a confidentiality agreement at the beginning of the session and agree to keep ourselves and our group safe. Please email to register your interest.
*Please note this is not group therapy.
