We live in a society that asks us to 'move on' from our grief, to get over it and feel better. All of these are unreasonable expectations and when we dont meet these expectations we can feel like we are failing. And this couldnt be further from the truth. There isnt a timeline that we can meet, we must process in our own time and that isnt linear.
Do you find that you have to protect others from your grief, to hold back what you say or express how you are really feeling? Are you the person that always looks after others, to be the carer or helper? I offer a space that allows all of you to be you.
- A place to explore the raw unspeakable pain. To go over something again and again so as to make sense of it.
- To let out all that you are holding in. To revisit or explore something that was just too painful at the time, or if your feelings have changed over time.
- To not have to protect anyone elses feelings or feel guilty for your own.
- To not feel rushed into being 'okay'
To hold any of this takes a huge amount of energy and headspace to just exist day to day. I can help you to explore all if this, in your own time. You gift yourself an hour a week that is just for you.
